Biography

Prof. Shu Lin is currently a Professor of Economics at CUHK. He is also serving as a research fellow of the Shanghai Institute of International Finance and Economics, a Co-editor for China & World Economy and China Journal of Economics, and an Academic Committee Member of the Pushan Foundation. Before joining CUHK, he was a Professor of Finance and the chair of the Department of International Finance at Fudan University.

 

Prof. Lin’s research focuses on empirical international finance, monetary economics, and Chinese economy. His research has appeared in leading academic journals, including the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Monetary Economics, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of International Economics, and Journal of Development Economics.

 

Prof. Lin is a recipient of the Sun Yefang Financial Innovation Award, the Pushan Foundation Award for Academic Research in International Economics, and the Shanghai Thousand Talents Program. He also receives various competitive grants, including the Hong Kong RGC General Research Funds, China Social Science Foundation Major Project Grants, and the Excellent Young Scholars Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
